Liebe Tanz- und Theaterfans,
butoh befreit vom gestern und leitet in das hier und jetzt. es ist die stunde des tanzes in seiner reinsten form, ein tanz jenseits von wertung und ästhetik, ein tanz des seins, wo in jedem augenblick gestorben und wiedergeboren wird
Der Tod ist ein Tänzer.
Gegen Ende des vergangenen Jahres ist meine Mutter, nach einem langen Leben verschieden. Ein tiefer Schmerz, die Trauer über den Verlust eines so wichtigen Menschen, aber auch große Dankbarkeit prägen seither mein emotionales Befinden. Das Projekt „Lazarus- a white shadow“ greift diesen persönlichen Einschnitt künstlerisch auf und sucht einen körper-poetischen Umgang mit dem Tod.

Vom 24.-26. November lade ich zu einer Tanz- und Musik-Performance ins Einstein Kultur/ Halle 2 ein, wo ich zusammen mit Boris Kammin (Derwisch), Masako Ohta (Piano), Christoph Nicolaus (Steinharfe) und Jost-H.Hecker (Violoncello) eine archäologische Erinnerungsreise inszeniere.

Dear dance and theatre fans,
butoh liberates us from yesterday and leads us into the here and now. it is the hour of dance in its purest form, a dance beyond judgement and aesthetics, a dance of being, where death and rebirth take place in every moment
Death is a dancer.
Towards the end of last year, my mother passed away after a long life. Since then, my emotional state has been characterised by deep pain, sadness at the loss of such an important person, but also great gratitude. The project „Lazarus – a white shadow“ takes up this personal incision artistically and seeks a body-poetic approach to death.

From 24-26 November, I invite you to a dance and music performance at Einstein Kultur/Hall 2, where I will be staging an archaeological journey of memory together with Boris Kammin (dervish), Masako Ohta (piano), Christoph Nicolaus (stone harp) and Jost-H.Hecker (cello).
